Education and Advice

The most significant task that we have is to contribute to raising awareness of the critically important environmental issues that face us all. ORC does this through its education and training programmes and its publications.

ORC also offers training and participation in events via our Organic Demonstration Farm Network, established in 1996 and now comprising 20 farms, and Farmer Groups.

Local groups use Elm Farm as a resource with free, open access to our Countryside Stewardship Scheme funded farm trail. Elm Farm is an ideal site for demonstrating conservation of flora and fauna through, for example,its hedgerow management plan.
